Do hospital nurses smoke in front of the hospital?

Posted by: Leanne R  »  Category: Weird

They sure do.

When I walk down the street past the hospital near my house, I see the nurses smoking. I think smoking is dumb and should not be attempted because it fills your lungs with tar. I find it weird that they’re smoking and yet they’re trying to help people stay healthy. In the future, the nurses might end up in the hospital with the people they were trying to help.

Do firefighters pick up their dry cleaning?

Posted by: Leanne R  »  Category: Weird

They sure do.

On June 1st, I was siting in a cafe/bakery with my dad, when a fire truck pulled up in front of the cafe. I thought if there was a fire, everybody would have known about it. Yet three firefighters (not in their big chunky fire outfits) crossed the street and a few minutes later, they walked back to the truck carrying their navy blue uniforms!

The Buzz Cafe

The Cafe and the Harrison Gallery

The cafe was large. There is an art gallery if you go the stairs to the right. If your cup is full, you will need to go up the stairs very carefully. To sit in the gallery was nice and quiet. The furniture, colours, art gallery and hot chocolate were nice. On a scale from one to ten, I’d give the hot chocolate a ten. I recommend The Buzz Cafe to those who like art and want to have a nice quiet talk with their friend.

Trees Organic Cafe

The cafe

The cafe was medium sized. The furniture was made of mostly wood and metal. My hot chocolate was served in a small mug. It was good with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. I recommend Trees Organic to those who want to have a quiet talk with their friend or like to watch cars go by.

The Cafe

Momento Coffee HouseThe cafe was about half the size of my bedroom (not including the closet and furniture) with the full size of my parents bedroom (not including the closet and furniture) all put together. The colours of the cafe were warm, cozy colors such as brownish red. The furniture was mostly all wood except for the bright blue couch, the Mickey Mouse telephone and the old coffee grinder. The hot chocolate was amazing! The cafe owner was very nice. He asked me if I would like my hot chocolate very chocolaty. Of course I said yes! I’m totally recommending Momento Coffee House. And if you go there, tell the cafe owner you came on Cafe Leanne’s recommendation.

Star Trek: Where no man has gone before.

James T. Kirk: William Shatner
Mr. Spock: Leonard Nimoy
Scotty: James Doohan
Hikaru Sulu: George Takei
Gary Mitchell: Gary Lockwood
Dr. Elizabeth Dahner: Sally Kellerman

Gary Mitchell

Originally, Gary was an ordinary crewman on the Enterprise until they go into some kind of nebula that sort of zaps him and Dr. Dahner. The effects of the nebula make his eyes go weird. Gary, and later Kirk, discovers that he has special powers. You’d think it would be awesome to have powers, that you would want to be Gary. However, the zap made him evil. Kirk tried to leave him on Delta Vega, but unfortunately that didn’t work. In the end, Kirk get his shirt ripped open from fighting, and Gary went the same way every bad guy goes. What I mean to say is, he was killed.

Charlie Evens: Guest Star Robert Walker

Charlie

Charlie is a seventeen-year-old boy who doesn’t understand the ways of life. He is a little immature brat and he rudely interrupts. If you’re wonder why I said that, watch the episode. As he says to Yeoman Rand (his first love), “If I had the whole universe, I’d give it to you.”

The Salt Monster

The salt monster,”Dude” as I’ve been calling it, needs salt to live. It is very hairy, except for its face. It has a flat fishy face in which you can see its sharp teeth. “Dude” has suction cups on his hands. “Dude” is very freaky and should not be shown to young children.

Captain Christopher Pike: Jeffrey Hunter
Mr. Spock: Leonard Nimoy
Vena: Guest Star Susan Oliver

Vena’s Wardrobe Changes

When we first see Vena, she is wearing a kind of blue shirt with ripped short sleeves along with a weaved short skirt. The next time we see her, she wears a white princess dress with gold lining. The third and main outfit is a silver sleeveless dress that goes up a bit above her knees. The last outfit is a long-sleeved light pink shirt with long matching pants.

Rain City Coffee Co

The cafe was medium sized. It was quiet and empty except for two guys. The cafe was mostly black, silver and a little bit of red and blue. The cup and saucer was like every cafe (but not Tim Horton’s)– plain. The drink was usual– not too hot, not too cold. The whipped cream was better than I expected. I enjoyed Rain City Coffee Co. Yes, I’d go back and I recommend it for whoever seeks a quiet drink.
